Winter coats and boots for 21 children at Jacaranda Refugee Centre in El Paso
Coats, boots, hats and gloves are needed before the cold snap.

I coordinate donations at Jacaranda Refugee Centre in El Paso. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in El Paso, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Jacaranda Refugee Centre on Monday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Jacaranda Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Blessings
Good luck, Scarlett. Shared it with a few friends.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in teaching myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
Sending strength. This could happen to any of us. Thinking of El Paso
Thinking of you, Scarlett. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Put this on a community board in Leeds this morning. Take care.
