A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Union Refugee Centre.

I coordinate donations at Union Refugee Centre in Orlando. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Orlando, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Union Refugee Centre on Friday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Union Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.

Take care, Bella. Hope this works out for you. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Wishing you peace. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Saket.
Sending strength. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Love from St. Petersburg.
