I coordinate donations at the Harmony Family Centre in Kasarani. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Kasarani, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Harmony Family Centre on Sunday between 10am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Harmony Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thank you so much.

  • So sorry you're going through this, Joyce. Hope this works out for you.

    • Sending strength. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Tokyo

      • Keep going, Joyce. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. We're a small family in Dar es Salaam but we're thinking of you.
