I coordinate donations at the Cedar Primary School in Atlanta. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Atlanta, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Cedar Primary School on Tuesday between 9am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Cedar Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I hope life is good to you.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 6 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything.

    • Sending good thoughts. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Atlanta.

                • I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Atlanta.
