I coordinate donations at Cedar Women's Shelter in Addis Ababa. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Addis Ababa, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Cedar Women's Shelter on Tuesday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Cedar Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you for reading my story.

wishing you peace. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Greetings from Ogbomosho
Wishing you the best. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Nizamabad donated after I showed her your page.
Stay strong, Fasil. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Saint-Denis but we're thinking of you.
Good luck. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
