A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Liberty Refugee Centre.

I coordinate donations at Liberty Refugee Centre in Shinjuku. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Shinjuku, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Liberty Refugee Centre on Saturday between 9am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Liberty Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Thinking of you and your family. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Vadodara donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Vadodara.
Sending strength, Ayumi. This could happen to any of us. Love from Bristol
Thanks for sharing this. Your post was clear and honest. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
