I coordinate donations at the Liberty Mosque in Uberlândia. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Uberlândia, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Liberty Mosque on Wednesday between 11am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Liberty Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Glad we found this place.

  • You're not alone. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.

    • Rooting for you, Jéssica. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best

      • So sorry you're going through this, Jéssica. Hope you get there. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Sydney
