Winter coats and boots for 15 children at Liberty Refugee Centre in Erie
Coats, boots, hats and gloves are needed before the rains.
🇺🇸 Erie, Pennsylvania, United States529 views
I coordinate donations at Liberty Refugee Centre in Erie. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Erie, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Liberty Refugee Centre on Monday between 9am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Liberty Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Haarlem but we're thinking of you. God bless.
Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. We're a small family in Duluth but we're thinking of you
thanks for sharing this, Laura. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Erie.
Thanks for sharing this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best
stay strong, Laura. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
