William's final semester of a teaching qualification in Southampton
A first-generation student, William needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a teaching qualification.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a teaching qualification at Southampton State College, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a shop assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $2,350.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a top-ten-percent average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Southampton State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $2,350 goes:
โข Exam and lab fees: $140
โข Outstanding tuition balance: $940
โข Final term tuition: $1,270
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

So sorry you're going through this, William. Study hard! Greetings from San Antonio.
Good luck, William. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
Praying for you. Study hard! We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
