Greensboro
Wendy is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at the Greensboro Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,850. The registrar has said Wendy can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Wendy has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Wendy would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Wendy isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Greensboro Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $5,850 goes: • Final term tuition: $3,850 • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,850 • Exam and lab fees: $150 Glad we found this place.
