The Community Pantry pantry in London is running low just as demand rises; $1,700 will stock it for 12 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Sunday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 8 families, and now we feed 94 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 51% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 8 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the London market and keep every receipt.
Each $35 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $660
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $660
• Baby formula and diapers: $185
• Refrigeration and electricity: $195
