Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Sunday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 28 families, and now we feed 256 each week. Donations have dropped by about 60% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 19 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Brooklyn market and keep every receipt. Each $45 feeds a family of four for a week. I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday. Where the $2,700 goes: • Baby formula and diapers: $260 • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,300 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,140 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Eli
