Weekly meals for families facing hunger in Bogotá
Roberto runs a volunteer pantry feeding 261 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Thursday from the back of a community center. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 261 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 32% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Bogotá market and keep every receipt.
Each $15 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $700 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $460
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $105
• Baby formula and diapers: $80
• Refrigeration and electricity: $55
Thanks for being kind about this.

Good news. Because of your gifts ($55 in total) we've started the first stage. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Stay strong, Roberto. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up. God bless
