Weekly meals for families facing hunger in Aurangabad
The Bread & Beans Kitchen pantry in Aurangabad is running low just as demand rises; $450 will stock it for 9 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Monday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 28 families, and now we feed 255 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 56% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 17 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Aurangabad market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $450 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $40
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $280
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $130
