Vitória da Conquista
Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Friday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 24 families, and now we feed 290 each week. Donations have dropped by about 41% this winter, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 20 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Vitória da Conquista market and keep every receipt. Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week. I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday. Where the $750 goes: • Refrigeration and electricity: $70 • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $530 • Baby formula and diapers: $150 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hope things get better soon. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Vitória da Conquista!
