Weekly meals for families and seniors in Austin
Jing runs a volunteer pantry feeding 104 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Tuesday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 16 families, and now we feed 104 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 57% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Austin market and keep every receipt.
Each $25 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $4,450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $2,350
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,300
• Baby formula and diapers: $590
• Refrigeration and electricity: $210
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
