Website help for a women's cooperative: The Unity Language Café

The Unity Language Café runs on volunteers and has no website; a designer or developer could help us reach more people.

The Unity Language Café is a small women's cooperative in San Diego that serves about 373 people each year. We've been running on word of mouth and social media, and we need a simple website with information, volunteer sign-up and a donate button. We have the content, logo and photos ready. We need someone who can design and build it, and show our volunteer how to update it. We'd estimate 20-30 hours of work. Ideally it should be fast on mobile, accessible, and use inexpensive hosting. We have a domain already. Please reply with a link to similar work. We can't pay, but we can offer a reference, a public thank-you, and a lot of thanks. Thanks for being kind about this.

  • Rooting for you, Julian. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of San Diego!

    • Thanks for sharing this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 14 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything.

      • So sorry you're going through this, Julian. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Toronto.

        • Hang in there, Julian. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Sent it to 24 people at work. Thinking of San Diego

wishing you peace, Julian. This could happen to any of us. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings
