Website help for a language café: Lotus Seniors' Association

Lotus Seniors' Association runs on volunteers and has no website; a designer or developer could help us reach more people.

Lotus Seniors' Association is a small language café in Lagos that serves about 245 people each year. We've been running on word of mouth and social media, and we need a simple website with information, volunteer sign-up and a donate button. We have the content, logo and photos ready. We need someone who can design and build it, and show our volunteer how to update it. We'd estimate 20-30 hours of work. Ideally it should be fast on mobile, accessible, and use inexpensive hosting. We have a domain already. Please reply with a link to similar work. We can't pay, but we can offer a reference, a public thank-you, and a lot of thanks. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

  • Praying for you, Ebuka. I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Lagos.

    • So sorry you're going through this. Hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.

      • Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.

        • Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. After 7 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.

          • You're not alone. Your post was clear and honest. I have a 13 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Jeddah.

            • wishing you the best. Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Athens
