We lost everything in the landslide: help Old Town village start over
The landslide damaged 18 homes in Old Town village. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The landslide hit Old Town village on 20 September. My home was one of 18 damaged, and 2 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $570
• Tools and labor for repairs: $360
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $170

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Yodchai.
Roofing sheets and timber is $570 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Good question.
