I coordinate donations at Unity Refugee Centre in Moscow. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Moscow, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Unity Refugee Centre on Sunday between 10am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Unity Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I hope life is good to you.

  • Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Moscow.

    • Wishing you the best. Shared this with my family. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Moscow.

      • Wishing you peace, Stanislav. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Entebbe this morning. Love from Entebbe
