I coordinate donations at Unity Refugee Centre in Montpellier. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Montpellier, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Unity Refugee Centre on Sunday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Unity Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Your post was clear and honest. We're a small family in London but we're thinking of you.
Wishing you peace, Benoît. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Sent it to 17 people at work.
Stay strong, Benoît. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Take care
