I coordinate donations at the Unity Mosque in Nnewi. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Nnewi, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Unity Mosque on Tuesday between 9am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Unity Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you so much.

Take care. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Mumbai.
Sending good thoughts, Musa. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Blessings.
Wishing you the best. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Sukkur this morning!
Good luck, Musa. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Port Harcourt
