Warm clothes needed: the Unity Mosque families in Cartagena
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Unity Mosque.
🇨🇴 Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia789 views
I coordinate donations at the Unity Mosque in Cartagena. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Cartagena, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Unity Mosque on Thursday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Unity Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Good luck, Isabel. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. It's not much but it's yours.
Sending strength, Isabel. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Blessings
Sending strength, Isabel. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Take care.
You're not alone. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too
Best of luck, Isabel. This could happen to any of us. Please keep us posted. Thinking of Cartagena
