Warm clothes needed: the Unity Family Centre families in Sacramento
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Unity Family Centre.
🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States1,137 views
I coordinate donations at the Unity Family Centre in Sacramento. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Sacramento, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Unity Family Centre on Friday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Unity Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I hope life is good to you.

Wishing you the best, Kennedy. Shared this with my family. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from San Diego.
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Wish I lived closer to Ankara so I could bring a meal.
