I coordinate donations at the Sycamore Primary School in Barcelona. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Barcelona, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Sycamore Primary School on Friday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Sycamore Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Thanks for sharing this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
Sending strength, Amir. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Mangaluru.
Hope this works out for you. Wish I lived closer to El Paso so I could bring a meal. All the best
Hope it all works out, Amir. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Sent it to 20 people at work. Greetings from Mukono
Hang in there, Amir. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
Take care, Amir. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Greetings from Wudil.
