I coordinate donations at the Maple Primary School in Novosibirsk. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Novosibirsk, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Maple Primary School on Wednesday between 10am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Maple Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • Wishing you the best, Iryna. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Blessings.

    • Rooting for you. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Love from Bogotá.

      • Rooting for you. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.

        • Thinking of you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out.

          • Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Novosibirsk.
