Coats, boots, hats and gloves are needed before the cold snap.

I coordinate donations at the Maple Mosque in Toronto. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Toronto, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Maple Mosque on Saturday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Maple Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Hope things get better soon. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless
Sending strength, Eli. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My husband and I read this together. God bless.
This could happen to any of us. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Duque de Caxias.
