Warm clothes needed: the Maple Mosque families in Huntsville
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Maple Mosque.

I coordinate donations at the Maple Mosque in Huntsville. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Huntsville, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Maple Mosque on Wednesday between 11am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Maple Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

So sorry you're going through this. I hope things turn around soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend
Good luck, David. Your post was clear and honest. My husband and I read this together. Take care.
