I coordinate donations at the Liberty Mosque in Nashik. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Nashik, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Liberty Mosque on Wednesday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Liberty Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

I can't speak highly enough about this helper. They were available when I needed them, supportive when I felt lost, and practical in their solutions.

Stay strong. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best
Sending love. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Duque de Caxias.
Hang in there, Harsh. This could happen to any of us. Take care
Thinking of you, Harsh. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
You're not alone, Harsh. This could happen to any of us
