I coordinate donations at the Jacaranda Primary School in Newcastle. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Newcastle, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Jacaranda Primary School on Monday between 9am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Jacaranda Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Wishing you the best, Mateo. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My husband and I read this together.

    • Sending good thoughts. Shared it with a few friends. God bless!

      • Sending love, Mateo. It takes guts to ask. Well done.

          • Wishing you peace, Mateo. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. After 27 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
