Warm clothes needed: the Jacaranda Family Centre families in Wellington
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Jacaranda Family Centre.
🇳🇿 Wellington, Wellington, New Zealand685 views
I coordinate donations at the Jacaranda Family Centre in Wellington. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Wellington, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Jacaranda Family Centre on Thursday between 10am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Jacaranda Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending strength. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. We're a small family in Pune but we're thinking of you. Love from Pune!
Sending strength, Nathan. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together
Thanks for sharing this, Nathan. Your post was clear and honest.
sending love, Nathan. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Eindhoven so I could bring a meal.
