Warm clothes needed: the Harmony Mosque families in Dar es Salaam

I coordinate donations at the Harmony Mosque in Dar es Salaam. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Dar es Salaam, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Harmony Mosque on Sunday between 10am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Harmony Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
