Warm clothes needed: the Cedar Mosque families in Kisumu
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Cedar Mosque.

I coordinate donations at the Cedar Mosque in Kisumu. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Kisumu, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Cedar Mosque on Saturday between 11am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Cedar Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending strength. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Good luck, Dorcas. Shared this with my family. My husband and I read this together. Take care.
this could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Laval.
Hope it all works out, Dorcas. Shared it with a few friends. Please keep us posted
I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Kisumu
