Warm clothes needed: the Baobab Mosque families in Dar es Salaam

I coordinate donations at the Baobab Mosque in Dar es Salaam. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Dar es Salaam, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Baobab Mosque on Tuesday between 9am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Baobab Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
