I coordinate donations at the Baobab Community Church in Limerick. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Limerick, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Baobab Community Church on Wednesday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Baobab Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings.
praying for you, Clodagh. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Take care.
Sending love, Clodagh. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 13 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best
Gave what I could, wish it was more. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Limerick
Thinking of you, Clodagh. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
