Warm clothes needed: the Acacia Mosque families in Augusta
Savannah is collecting new or gently used winter clothing for children at the Acacia Mosque in Augusta.

I coordinate donations at the Acacia Mosque in Augusta. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Augusta, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Acacia Mosque on Saturday between 9am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Acacia Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
