A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Sycamore Refugee Centre.

I coordinate donations at Sycamore Refugee Centre in Montréal. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Montréal, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Sycamore Refugee Centre on Thursday between 11am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Sycamore Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

So sorry you're going through this. Your post was clear and honest. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Nuremberg
Hope it all works out, Michelle. Your post was clear and honest
Hang in there, Michelle. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
