I coordinate donations at Sycamore Refugee Centre in Amsterdam. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Amsterdam, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Sycamore Refugee Centre on Saturday between 10am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Sycamore Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Hope things get better soon, Marcel. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
Sending good thoughts, Marcel. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Amsterdam
