I coordinate donations at Maple Refugee Centre in Piraeus. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Piraeus, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Maple Refugee Centre on Friday between 11am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Maple Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thank you so much.

  • sending love, Kostas. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.

Hope things get better soon, Kostas. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Sent it to 30 people at work. Blessings
