Hong is collecting new or gently used winter clothing for children at Lotus Refugee Centre in Toronto.

I coordinate donations at Lotus Refugee Centre in Toronto. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Toronto, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Lotus Refugee Centre on Tuesday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Lotus Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Your post was clear and honest. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Fresno.
Shared it with a few friends. My husband and I read this together. Love from Fortaleza.
Thanks for sharing this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from San Diego
Sending good thoughts, Hong. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
