Moscow
I coordinate donations at Lotus Refugee Centre in Moscow. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Moscow, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Lotus Refugee Centre on Tuesday between 10am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Lotus Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thank you so much.

  • your post was clear and honest. Thinking of Moscow.

    • You're not alone, Timur. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. God bless

      • So sorry you're going through this, Timur. Shared it with a few friends. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.

        • Good luck. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best!

          • Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 23 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.

            • Best of luck, Timur. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.

Sending strength, Timur. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless.
