Warm clothes needed: Lotus Refugee Centre families in Kikuyu
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Lotus Refugee Centre.
🇰🇪 Kikuyu, Kiambu, Kenya998 views
I coordinate donations at Lotus Refugee Centre in Kikuyu. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Kikuyu, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Lotus Refugee Centre on Wednesday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Lotus Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Looking forward to the next update. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Quezon City.
Wishing you the best. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps.
Wishing you peace, Daniel. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Take care
Hang in there. Shared this with my family. It's not much but it's yours. God bless.
