I coordinate donations at Cedar Refugee Centre in Bandung. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Bandung, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Cedar Refugee Centre on Saturday between 11am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Cedar Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

  • Thinking of you, Novi. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in Varanasi but we're thinking of you.

    • Hope things get better soon, Novi. Shared it with a few friends. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Bandung.
