Warm clothes needed: Baobab Refugee Centre families in Mumbai
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Baobab Refugee Centre.
🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India1,290 views
I coordinate donations at Baobab Refugee Centre in Mumbai. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Mumbai, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Baobab Refugee Centre on Tuesday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Baobab Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Wishing you peace, Geetha. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless
Thanks for sharing this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Haifa.
Rooting for you, Geetha. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 14 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.

So sorry you're going through this, Geetha. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. All the best.
