A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Acacia Women's Shelter.

I coordinate donations at Acacia Women's Shelter in Tampa. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Tampa, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Acacia Women's Shelter on Thursday between 10am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Acacia Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thanks for sharing this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Put this on a community board in Accra this morning. God bless
sending good thoughts, Luke. This could happen to any of us. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Tampa.
