Wanted to borrow: set of ladders, London
Short-term loan wanted: set of ladders. I'll collect and return it myself, and happily cover any fuel.

I'm Raphaël in London. I'm decorating my daughter's room before she comes home from hospital, and I need a set of ladders for a week. Buying one for a single job doesn't make sense and the rental price is more than I can manage right now.
If you have one gathering dust in the garage, I'd be grateful to borrow it. I'll collect it from you, look after it, clean it and bring it back on the day we agree. I'll leave a deposit if you'd like, and I'm happy to meet somewhere public the first time.
If you could also show me how to use it safely, that would be an extra kindness.
Thank you. I'll give it back as promised.

My neighbor has one too and says you can borrow it. I will ask her. Flexible on timing.

I can lend one for a few weeks. I live about 13 km away so you would need to collect it. Just let me know.
