Wanted to borrow: hedge trimmer, Birmingham
Short-term loan wanted: hedge trimmer. I'll collect and return it myself, and happily cover any fuel.

I'm Allison in Birmingham. I'm decorating my daughter's room before she comes home from hospital, and I need a hedge trimmer for a single afternoon. Buying one for a single job doesn't make sense and the rental price is more than I can manage right now.
If you have one gathering dust in the garage, I'd be grateful to borrow it. I'll collect it from you, look after it, clean it and bring it back on the day we agree. I'll leave a deposit if you'd like, and I'm happy to meet somewhere public the first time.
If you could also show me how to use it safely, that would be an extra kindness.
Many thanks, and I'm happy to answer any questions.
