Wanjiru needs a lift to the Nakuru Kidney Centre - can you help one day a week?
A rota of drivers to the Nakuru Kidney Centre would keep Wanjiru on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Wanjiru has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to the Nakuru Kidney Centre alone. After surgery on their hand, Wanjiru can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 23 km each way.
Wanjiru is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Glad we found this place.

- one weekly trip
