Waleed needs clippers, chairs and mirrors to reopen a barbershop
Waleed has run a barbershop for fifteen years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $200 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a barbershop in Aswan. In January, a long illness and repossession took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $200 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $85
• Shop repairs and licensing: $30
• Initial stock: supplies: $85
Thanks for reading all this.

Good luck. Hope this works out for you. Sent it to 13 people at work. All the best.
Hang in there. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Put this on a community board in Bangkok this morning. Blessings.
Wishing you peace, Waleed. Hope you make a strong comeback. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Wudil!
You're not alone. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I hope May is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Aswan.
So sorry you're going through this, Waleed. Hope you make a strong comeback. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings.
