Wahyu was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in March. The oncology team at Magelang Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Wahyu is 58, worked as a nurse until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Magelang Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $450 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $200
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $125
• Scans and lab work: $125
